Motorcycle Repair: clutch-side switchbox electrica, clutch side, honda 1100

Question
Hi. I have a 2001 Honda 1100 Spirit. I made the stupid error of deciding to replace the dull switchbox housings myself with some new chrome ones.  Inside the housing there are 2 metal plates that hold the signal lever and the contacts in place within the housing. One piece is flat, and I know that the signal lever attaches to it and how to put it back in. The other piece has a couple of bends in it I am positive that it holds the signal contacts in place. However, I cannot figure out how it goes back in to the housing! Any suggestions or pretty pictures for a guy who should have known better?

Answer
Hi Jeff,

I couldn't find any images of the switch disassembled anywhere on line.

I've done the task many times over the years, but I don't think I can explain it. An image is worth many words. Keep at it, you'll get it.
