Motorcycle Repair: Honda charging systems, electronic ignition systems, cb360

Question
I am re-building a '75 CB360 and have come accross many articles and postings about the often inferior engineering of the charging systems of older Japanese motorbikes. Things like having to replace rectifiers so running the lights do not drain the battery and so on. I have seen many after market kits from rectifiers to all new stators and electronic ignition systems. Since I'm not doing a "restoration" but building a custom cycle on the frame and drivetrain of a 75 CB 360, being stock is not an issue whatsoever. Do you or can you recommend any sources for these types of products. I'm asking anyone who will listen! I'm an experienced wrencher, but this is my first bike and I'd rather take a year or two to do this than throw it together. Thanks In Advance!
