Motorcycle Repair: rejetting carburator, drag pipes, shadow spirit

Hi Chris.  I just purchased a 1998 VT1100C Shadow Spirit which had orginal exhaust still on it. I replaced the exhaust with cobra drag pipes with baffles. What do I need to do to rejet the carburator?  Which way do I need to go?  Do you have any idea what size jet?  I have ridden it about 30 miles and the pipes are beginning to discolor just a little.  Appreicate your help.  Thanks  Larry

 The pipes will discolor anyway.  Not much you can do about it.  Even factory pipes do that more often than not.  Unless there is a problem with the bike as far as running rich or lean, then don't even worry about it.  I don't see any reason that you would want to rejet at all with the new pipes.  No matter what anyone says, that discoloration is from heat.  Not any jetting issue.
