Motorcycle Repair: clutch cable, clutch cables, clutch cable

hi there, please tell me why i'm breaking clutch cables every 3 months or so on my t140e.

Well Brooke that's a tricky one...as I'm sure you know...Are you buying the thick nylon-lined cable? Are there any kinks in the cable, particularly where the nipple goes into the lever at either end? Is the clutch particularly heavy? No use to you I realise, but I had a cable on my Royal Wedding for 13 years, so it must be one of the above. Does the nipple come off or does the cable snap?
