Motorcycle Repair: turn signals,motor wont kick over, wont kick, eyes and ears

First off glad to see there are some guys around that can help. 79 Suzuki 850...signals will not work at all there is no electric to the signals. Had plugs and carb cleaned out,oil changed gaskets etc..motor acts like it is starving for gas. Can you help?

I can help, but I'll need more information than given.

Please give me detailed descriptions of the problems. Will the engine start normally? Does it idle, or just on choke? Does it start and run well, just won't take throttle?

Be as thorough as possible. I cannot be there so you have to be my eyes and ears.

You'll have to figure the electrical problem on your own. You have to trace each wire in the turn signal circuit and verify continuity thru each wire, find where voltage is and is not in the circuit, and check the switch and fuse.

Have patience with repairs.
