this bike was a basket case that i am trying to restore. i have had it bored and installed new piston and rings.i have cleaned the carb well but it leaks around the bowl and petcock. it started fine and ran for twenty minutes ,restarting several times.now it will not start and the plug seems to have fowled.have cleaned plug ,still wont start.

Hi John,

I suspect the carb may need cleaned again and some minor adjustments made. Remember, every pinhole inside the carbs is critical to proper operation. Every air-fuel passage way, jet, and other parts must be cleaned with spray cleaner and compressed air. Do not get spray cleaner on rubber parts.
