Motorcycle Repair: goldwing rear shocks, air shocks, rear shocks

Question
My 1981 Goldwing's rear shocks bottom out on even small bumps. They are air shocks but I am not sure if they are factory. When I pump the air up past 70psi it gives out and goes back to zero. I am not sure if they should be re-built or new ones put on. Someone brouth up the chance there may not be enough oil in them, but I am not sure how to check that.
Thanks for your help

Answer
Hi Henry,

You can check for an air leak in the system. Chances are, the shocks will need replaced. Here are some website that might interest you. Got to Bikebandit to view microfiche parts on-line.
