Motorcycle Repair: Stripped Shock Mount, shock mount, die cutter

Is there an easy way to repair a stripped shock mounting stud? It is welded onto the frame.

Hi Michael.
 The only way that I can come up with to repair a stripped bolt like that is to rethread it with a correct sized die cutter.  You will also need to find another bolt in the correct thread and diameter to fit the new threading, since it will most likely be a different thread.
