Motorcycle Repair: 1972 Honda, xrsonly, xl 250

I have a 1972 XL 250 with a powroll 318 big bore kit. I need to know what piston i can interchange with it. It has a 79.8 mm piston now and powroll stopped producing that piston 10 yrs ago. suzuki and Kaw. have an 80 mm. will they work?

Bud, I have no idea if other pistons will fit. You have to consider the wrist pin size, deck height, combustion chamber crown, etc and compare them directly.

may be able to assist. Having a piston custom made will probably more expensive than finding another cylinder and using some thing that is currently available.
