Motorcycle Repair: removing outer cases, outer case, electronic ignition

1985 sportster 1000cc my motor is out and on my shop
bench and im trying to remove my outer case covers for
chroming ive got all the bolts and chain tentioner removed
and on the left the case is broke loose but it will not come
off whats keeping it from coming off?  The right side wont
even break loose

Both covers should pull off if you have all the bolts out. On the cam cover side, did you remove the electronic ignition and weights? On the primary side, did you remove the clutch adjuster?
Usually if you have everything removed, they are still tight due to using gasket sealer. You might have to pry on them to get them to pop loose.
