Motorcycle Repair: Yamaha Vstar 1100 Classic Electrical Problem, vstar 1100, check battery

Question
Symptons: Bike Battery good. Have lights, horn, etc. If i jump start the bike and let it run for 10 minutes bike will start again and again. However if I try again in morning the bike will not start like not enough in battery to turn starter. Also My turn signal lights are blowing out alot. And when they are working sometimes they blink at high speeds. Individual with same symptons said dealer fixed his stated it was ground wire in middle of chassis. Where? Any help appreciated. Trying to get fixed before I leave for Daytona in 2 Weeks. Thanks

Answer
Hi Matt,

I agree that a loose connection is the cause, or is a cause of the cause. :)

Starting with the Batery Negative (black) cable, trace this cable back until it ends. You will find the point where it fastens to the frame.

Check all connections and tighten as needed.

If you have a multimeter, check battery voltage and perform a output test. If you're not sure what to do, send me an email address as requested and I will return basic testing information files.
