Motorcycle Repair: Headlight, fuse box, averge

My headlight won't come on my 1982 Yamaha kz1000. The headlight itself is ok. Where should I look next?

well i have no manual for your bike, a kz1000 is a kawasaki, so i dont even know what model you have. heres an averge overview. power runs from the ignition switch to the fuse box. the headlight fuse runs power to the hi-lo switch on the handlebar, and then to the light. maybe just a bad fuse, they can look good and be bad. start following your power, and you will figure it out.
