Nissan Repair: nissan vg30 v6 problem

my nissan v6 vg30 4x4 91 model have a problem on starting and when it start and when iput on the lights it cuts off even to put on harzets lights it have a funny noise what can be the problem

Hi -

First thing I would check is your alternator. If it is not recharging the battery then this will happen. It should be charging the battery at 14V at idle.

Could also be a bad battery. With the lights on, try starting the car. If the lights go dim or turn off and the car does not start, it is the battery.
