Nissan Repair: 90 nissan d21 trans issue

QUESTION: I've replaced master and slave cylinders, I've bled them correctly. I can see slave moving like it should. Car won't go into gear when running. The part the slave pushes feels weird maybe broke I don't know.

When you press the clutch, does the clutch arm move?

QUESTION: If the clutch ARM is the piece the slave pushes then yes. It moves back and forth with clutch pedal. When its fully engaged and car running u can't put in gear.

Hi Michael -

If the arm moves that means the slave and the master is OK.

Can it shift into gear with the engine off?

If so, the sync is bad and needs replacing, which means the trans will have to be removed to repair.
