Nissan Repair: speedometer jumps then doesnt move, then my car jerks alot., speedometer cable, gauge wires

Hi calvin. Was wondering, my boyfriend changed my oxy sensor, n cam sensor after that my temp guage doesnt work. Also now my car jerks alot and the speedometer doesnt work at times. We changed the sensors cause the car constantly dies out wen at stop lite ot stop sign, now it stays on but speddometer works sometimes. It jumps or just doesnt move. Please help?

Hi Amy -

Please have your boyfriend trace back and see what was removed or touched while replacing the sensors. The temp gauge wires could have easily been disconnected during this process.

I do not know the year and make of your Nissan, but he must also check the speedometer cable and see if was dislodged from its cradle or kinked in any way. This could cause your issues.
