Nissan Repair: power steering, power steering fluid, oil leaks

I have a 2000 I30 infin. and it's leaking power steering fluid..what can this be and what can of power steering fluid my car takes..

Hi Ron -

Most of the time the power steering oil leaks from the high pressure side hose. Usually it is the hose with the fittings on both ends. Start the car and watch the hose while turning the steering back and forth. This should reveal the leak. Your manual should tell you what type of steering fluid to use.
