Nissan Repair: Engine not starting, nissan cefiro a32, spark plug wire

Question
I have a Nissan cefiro a32 engine and it wont start I have change all yhe sensors the plugs clean the injectors and service all the jacks to the various sensors please help me

Answer
Hi Bobby -

First check for spark -

Remove one spark plug wire and insert a screwdriver into the boot until it wedges against the terminal inside. Hold the screwdriver shaft about 1/4" away from any metal surface of the engine and have someone crank the engine as if to start it. You should see a spark jumping between the 2 surfaces. Depending on what year your nissan is, it may be the ignition module or coil.

If there is spark, then spray some starting fluid in the intake throat of the engine and try starting it. If it starts momentarily and then shuts off, then it is most likely the fuel pump.

Hope this helps -
