Nissan Repair: 1994 nissan infiniti g20, spark plug wire, nissan infiniti

my 1994 nissan infiniti g20 wont start when its cold outside. once the sun warms it up it has no problem starting. what could be the problem? the check engin light ISNT on. please help!

Hi Ashley -

First we have to determine whether the fault is spark or fuel.

Next time it is not starting, remove one spark plug wire and insert a screwdriver inside the boot until it wedges against the terminal inside. Hold the screwdriver shaft 1/4" away from any metal surface of the engine while a helper cranks the engine as if to start.

Let me know if there is a spark jumping between the 2 surfaces.
