i have a 2004 maxima 3.5 liter for some reason when i go to excelerate this car has no power you can put the petel to the floor and it gets up to speed very slow this only happens once in awhile any thoughts on what the problem could be ?

Hi Joe -

Assuming you have tuned the engine up recently, and the check engine light is not on, I would definitely check the fuel pump pressure and volume.

Pressure should run about 45 PSI, and as far as the volume, remove the supply line and turn the ignition on. Should fill at least one cup in 3 seconds.
