Dear Bill,
My J30 runs perfectly but suddenly the engine dies completely, even while driving 70mph. It always restarts with feathering of the accelerator or spontaneously. It happens when warm or cold, low speed of high. Sometimes it won't start for a day and then it starts and runs perfectly again. Is it possessed? Fuel pump problem? Computer? Camshaft position sensor? I'm baffeled!

Hi there, and OBD II scanner interface would be useful in helping make a diagnosis. However, I suspect a cam sensor even though you haven't mentioned what model year is your vehicle as different model years tend to having different problems.
