Nissan Repair: help with my van, mercury villager, solenoid valve

QUESTION: I have a 1997 mercury villager and it shifts hard from 1 to 2
the check engen light flashes 16 times and i get code 0745 can you help me out

ANSWER: Check these possible causes: Faulty line pressure solenoid valve, Line pressure solenoid valve harness or connectors, Line pressure solenoid valve circuit is open or shorted, the transmission fluid level is low and or Dirty

Tack is messed up and spedo fluid is full a clean dose not smell and is not grety
If I don't need to drop the vale body I  do.t want to

Unfortunately, Christopher, I have no schematic diagrams for Ford/Mercury vehicles and also transmissions are outside of my expertise! (It's on my profile). And I'm under NISSAN repair category. I am sorry, but to help you out a bit, the solenoid components are inside the tranny by the valve body and the oil pan needs to be removed to access it. Your best bet is to have a transmission tech have a look at the problem.
