Nissan Repair: 2009 Nissan Maxima VDC comes on, vehicle speed sensor, vehicle dynamic control

The Brake light comes on momentarily whilst driving and then the VDC Off warning light comes on after. It resets after the engine has been restarted. Normally happens when first started in the morning. Can this be a faulty Emergency Brake Switch that is shutting down the VDC?

Vehicle Dynamic Control light is part the anti skid system. It could be something as simple as a low brake fluid in the reservoir of the master cylinder, or a failed wheel sensor (1 or more) , or it could be the ABS control module that is going bad or it is not receiving a signal from the sensors, or (rarely), the Vehicle Speed Sensor. I do not believe is the hand brake switch, although I do not rule out any possibility. My recommendation is to take the problem to an ASE certified brake specialist or at the Nissan dealer where they can reset the system.
