Nissan Repair: camshaft position sensor, crank angle sensor, nissan quest

I just wanted to know the location on a 99 Nissan quest.They told me that it is in the distributor

Answer
Actually it's the crank angle sensor and it is located in the distributor below the rotor. Should the sensor fail, there will be no signal to the ECM from it when the #1 piston is on TDC and therefore the engine will not start. There will be no spark.
