i lost my original key and replace the egnition cylinder and a new key it will not start.there is no remote control and the new key dont open the doors any more.my alarme can not be activeted or deactiveted.do i need to reprogramme my new key if yes is it any way to do it manuelly.

Answer
Hello -

Yes, replacing the ignition cylinder has given you a new key that will not work on the doors, or other locks on the car. I will need to see the new key, however in any case it has to be programmed by the dealer to accept the codes to activate the remote feature.

I know this is not good news, but unfortunately it is the way the cars are manufactured.

Hope this helps -
