Nissan Repair: Car wont start, pump strainer, generic answers

Question
The car engine sparks but won't start. The fuel pump, fuel filter and fuel pump strainer were replaced 3 months ago and I am starting to get the same problem prior to these items being replaced. Could there be another issue?

Answer
Hi Armando

If it is sparking at the wire/spark plug, then the issue has to be fuel replated.

Try removing the intake boot, spraying some starting fluid, and starting the cvar right away. If the car starts and runs for a couple seconds and dies, then you will have to check the fuel system again, esp fuel pump. Should have at least 40PSI. If it does not start with the fuel prime, then it is electrical (spark).

these are my generic answers since I did not get the year model and make of your Nissan.

Hope this helps -
