my ac is working but the compressor is not starting plese help me for this problem i'll be highly solicated to you

Hello -

Try checking the fuses. You did not mention what kind of Nissan you have, but most cars are under dash driver's side. There is also a large circuit fuse box in the engine compartment on the fender well of the car.

If all fuses are good, then I would check the freon level (pressure) in the system. There is a pressure switch that monitors the system and if there is too low, or too high pressure, it will not engage the compressor. It is designed to protect the compressor. You will nee a special manifold with gauges to check this. Most mechanics have them.
