QUESTION: why is there hesitation when car accelerated. car had oil leak had timing chain changed when repaired gas good, plugs, wiring, distributor and rotor changed

OK. Thanks for answering. It is hard to diagnose a vehicle sight unseen, so I appreciate the input. If the engine light is on, I will need the code.

If the engine light is not on, then I would check the engine vitals (ignition timing, fuel pressure (should be about 45 PSI), check for vacuum leaks, etc)
