Nissan Repair: reverse, nissan altima, 4 quarts

hello,
 
i have a question about my 98 nissan altima...yesterday i went to back up and it wouldnt go in reverse> my first thing i di is to check the tran fluid and it was low. so i put 4 quarts in and it still doesnt go....what else can b the problem???

Hi Jenna -

Assuming that the fluid is at the proper level now, I would try an additive called AT205. That has help me tremendously in the past with non shifting.

Otherwise, I am afraid that an overhaul is needed
