Nissan Repair: heater core repair for 2004 nissan sentra 1.8S, heater core repair, nissan sentra

My heater core is starting to act up; water is seeping for a panel on the passenger side. My father and I loosen the panel but we didn't find anything.  Is there a way to get top the heater core from under the hood? I did see two leave like devices under the hood. I pulled the leaver but; I didn't pull it because I didn't want to mess anything up. The two leavers are on the left side near the power steering fluid jug. Where exactly is the heater core for a Nissan sentra? Is it buried under the dash board?

Yes, you are correct. It is in the ductwork behind the dash on the passenger side. You will have to access it from inside the car, possibly have to remove the glove compartment container for access, or after removing the front ducts on the passenger side.
