Nissan Repair: not cranking maxima, spark plug wire, computer timing

Question
QUESTION: i have a 99 nissan max. i cannot get it to start,it turns over and over.i've had it in the shop they checked the timimg,plugs,computer,gas,fire....etc what else could it be....PLEASE HELP ME.

ANSWER: Hi Arthur -

We need to take this step by step. Cars do not start for 2 reasons, fuel or spark. To find what it is, we have to find what it is not.

So, I will need your assistance if you will.

Remove a spark plug wire and insert a screwdriver into the boot until it wedges against the terminal inside. Hold the screwdriver shaft about 1/4" away from any metal surface of the car and have someone turn the engine as if to start. Do not touch any metal surface while doing this.
If a spark jumps between the 2 metal surfaces then it is not electrical and we have to check the fuel system.

Let me know -

Answer
Hi Arthur -

Sorry, don't quite understand, so can I verify? -

You checked for spark and there is spark?

The fuel system, do you have pressure all the way to the fuel rail when the ignition is on? If so, how much pressure?

No check engine light on correct?

Thanks
