Nissan Repair: electrical, car stereo amplifier, amp trigger

Question
2004 2.4L nissan frontier. while changing stereo units i lost power to stereo and turn signals. I chkd fuses under hood, in dash, and on back of stereo. truck still runs but without these items. any suggestions?

Answer
Eric,

I would look at the stereo wiring again.  Nissan uses a floating ground and if something is wired incorrectly it can blow systems and keep them off until wired correctly.  Other places to look for fuse or fuse links is the positive battery terminal connection.
