Nissan Repair: 95 nissan sentra, spark plug wires, nissan sentra

Question
I have a 95 nissan sentra it was running fine when i picked it up from my friends
house. Had it sitting for a while, now that i tried running it it feel weak like if  its
going to turn off. I ended up changing the spark plugs and when i took them out
they were black. When i replaced the spark plugs the car still felt weak like if it
wants to turn off. ( i have the car in neutral when i turn it on)

Answer
Hi Luis -

Black electrodes means the engine is running rich. If the idle is rough, check the vacuum hoses to see if it is cracked, disconnected, or broken. There are a lot of them, so take your time.

If the idle is rough, and when you accelerate it is missing, or a steady skipping, check or replace the spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor.

Hope this helps -
