Nissan Repair: asembeling the WHOLE tranny system, neutral safety switch, nissan maxima

Ii heres the skinny. I have a 01 Nissan maxima and i'm in the proses of putting in a manual tranny until i remembered i still have my auto shift in it(P,N,D,R,2,1). Ware could i find a manual one or at least ghetto rig something for it to work?

You are going to need a car to rob the parts from or you are going to have to buy some parts from a bunch of different sources.  The shifter, the clutch pedal assembly, slave and master cylinder and the hose to connect these with.  Also, you are going to need to rewire the neutral safety switch to the clutch switch for the starter or you will be wiring around these to make the starter work.  Think about the CV drive shafts as well and to make sure the transmission you are using is is good repair.  The Maxima manual is known for issues related to the case stretching due to stress with people slam shifting them.  Use synthetic grease like Mobil 1 or Redline or Royal Purple.
