Nissan Repair: Transmission problem on Nisan Avenir, d mode, older models

Hi, My transmission gears dont engage in the mornings, it takes a while to engage in to the D mode & Reverse mode.Once its the engine has run a bit it works well.Tried changing the transmission oil but it did not work fully,but it got better but not 100%.What could be the problem.Please help

What is the year model of your Nissan? What is the mileage?

Sometimes on the older models you not only have to change the oil, but the filter screen as well. There is also an additive called AT-205 that helps tired transmissions. I have used it many times with great success. If you cannot finid it, let me know, i can send it to you.
