Nissan Repair: 1998 Nissan Pulsar. Radio cuts out, lights dim and then acceleration becomes jerky., radio cuts, nissan pulsar

While driving, my radio turned off, a warning light was flashing on the dash and the internal lights and headlights became very dim. A few minutes later, the car started to become jerky while accelerating. I was just pulling over when the radio came back on, the lights came back on and it all worked normally again.

Hi David -

First thing I would check are the connections to the battery, and battery condition. If you have not replaced the battery within 2 or 3 years, get it load tested, or just replace it. If the battery checks out, and all its terminal connections, then have your alternator checked.
