Nissan Repair: Vibration, inner tie rod, pitman arm

Question
Calvin I have a 2005 Nissan Titan. With 100000 miles. When I reach the speeds of 65 to 75, my truck begins to vibrate pretty bad. When I get above 75 to 80 it totaly goes away. I have had my tires rotated and balanced. Also had the tire dealer check my tires to see if they were out of round. Any ideas what I should check on.

Answer
Hi Derek -

In order of probability, I would check:

Outer tie rod ends
Idler arm
pitman arm
inner tie rod ends
struts

if you feel the vibration on the steering wheel, it is coming from the front suspension. If the entire vehicle is shuddering, then I would check the rear struts.

Hope this helps -
