Nissan Repair: Navigation going out, bezzel, navigation screen

My navigation screen is goes off particular reason.  I've taken it out of the dash board and made sure that neither the cable or plug are the issue.  Frequently, as I put it back in the dash or just put some pressure on the bezzel, it would come back on for a brief period.  The Navi itself never goes out because when the screen comes alive the Navi is always booted up.

The only way to know for sure is to get the unit a part and diagnose the connector at both ends.  It does sound like the display has issues at its connector.  Another option, if you do not want to spend the bucks getting yours repaired is checking on ebay and the like.  I would look at the display connection first.  There is probably a solder joint, internally, that needs to be addressed.
