Nissan Repair: Nissan P12 Kickdown problem, nissan p12, vacuum switch

Question
Hi. i have a Nissan p12 2004 2.0 aut gasolin. I have problem with the kickdown. It`s working on and off. If i hit a bump in the road it can begin to work an last for 100m to 3-4 days driving .I have checked the oil , an its good . My local Nissan workshop took and cumputer test , but find nothing wrong. The manual (triptronic) its working normal.

Answer
Endre,

The kickdown is electronic on your vehicle.  So, it could be the vacuum switch that lets the computer know that the vacuum has dropped and it is time to kick down, the harness could have a loose connection and the kickdown valve in the transmission could have a loose connection.  Now, I would think the vacuum switch or the harness since you say the tiptronic is working properly.
