Nissan Repair: Nissan Altima Odometer, intake air temperature sensor, nissan altima

Question
QUESTION: 1: can you tell me what the code P110 means and what sensor I have to change in a 98 Altima?
2: can you also tell me how to erace the code from the memory in the computer?

         Thanks in advance: JohnB

ANSWER: Hi John -

The P110 code means intake air temperature sensor malfunction.

The code is erased through an OBD reader. I think Autozone does that for free. Sometimes, though it will clear when the component is replaced.

Hope this helps -

QUESTION: Is there a fuse or something electrical that would cause the odometer to stop working, the speedometer still works fine,do I have to take the instrument cluster out to remove the odometer? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

         Thanks in advance: JohnB

Answer
Hi John -

Yes, the instrument cluster needs to be removed to access the odometer. I don't believe the odometer is sold separately, it is part of the instrument cluster.

No fuse. This is a mechanical deal.

Hope this helps John -
