Nissan Repair: airflow 1998 nissan micra, radio area, dash vents

i have just bought a 1998 micra and the heaters work on all number but there is a lack of air coming out of the blowers and vents, ie when the windscreen steams up it is impossible to clear it with the blowers can anyone help me with what i can do to repair this thanks nathan.

Hi Nathan -

Looks like the A/C door is binding. This door channels the air into different ducts - I think it is not transferring to the dash vents. Check below the radio area (might have to remove some items to get at the ductwork underneath). Find the door in the ductwork, ensure it is free and easy to open/close. Coating the seal with grease will help it not to bind.
