Nissan Repair: 1990 300zx, 300zx, spark plugs

Question
Hello, I have a 1990 300zx 2+2 na,  I am not getting spark from my Z.  I have tried a few things, but I am stuck and do not know what else to try.  I have just replaced the ECU hoping that would be the problem, but it isnt giving me any difference.  I know that no spark could happen for a few reasons, bad spark plugs, bad ecu, or bad distributor.  Is there any way to check the distributor?  And what is the best way to see if I am gettin spark from the spark plugs?   Thank you so much, If you could help in any way I would appreciate it greatly!

Answer
Jasmine,

It is probably te distributor that is contaminated with oil.  Check the optical shutter wheel by disassembling the distributor.  If there is oil replace with a rebuilt distributor.  You already replaced the ECM so if there is power at the coil and no spark then the distributor is the most probable cause.
