Nissan Repair: 2000 nissan frontier xe 2.4 liter 2wd, nissan frontier, egr valve

when it is mainly cold and rainy my truck will not start right away I have to turn the ignition and pump the gas pedal numerous times.Then once i get it started I have to let it sit and run for at least 10 minutes otherwise it will sputter if I accelerate quickly or slowly.This only happens once in a while.I have done a full tune up and put additives in the gas tank.Also checked fuel pressure from fuel pump and was ok.I don't know what else to do.Do you think it is possible if the egr valve is bad.

Hi Matt -

To what extent was the tune up? Were the dist rotor and cap replaced? If not, that should be changed. The wires set should also be checked for shorting.

Might want to check the ignition module located in the distributor.
