Nissan Repair: Nissan Sentra N16 problem, nissan sentra n16, nissan sentra

Question
QUESTION: Hi! I'd like to ask you about the weird sound (sounds like a sticked paper being blown by wind) when I'm driving at 120kmph above. hope to hear reply from you soon. thanks in advance.

ANSWER: Dean,

I am going to need a little more information on the location of the noise.  It could be bearing related or a loose or damaged gasket allowing the wind to cause the noise.  Please email me back and give me more of a location and where it is coming from.

QUESTION: Hi,thanks for replying.

I don't really know the exact location of the noise but it came from the right side of the car as it is a right hand drive vehicle. it seems to get even noisier as I drive more faster.

Answer
Dean,

OK, I am going with the front bearing.  Nissan uses a set of bearings pressed into the front hubs and the noise you describe is probably the bearings that are making it.  If you get the car up on stands you can spin the tyres on each side, car in neutral, and notice the difference in each side.  At really slow speed, like when you are spinning the tyres, you should notice a difference in the feel.  There might be a growling noise on the right side or just a dragging feel.  My bet is the bearing since you say it is more pronounced at speed.
