The glove compartment latch of my recently acquired Nissan Primera 1997 has broken - do you know where I can purchase small parts like these or will I have to replace the whole unit?

Something like this, although small, I am pretty sure is a dealer item. I don't think they sell after market glove compartment latches. But in answer to your question, yes, you may purchase just the latch, and is relatively simply to install.
