Nissan Repair: 98 sentra 1.6l 4cl 5 speed manual, vehicle speed sensor, crankshaft sensor

i recently replaced the clutch pressure plate and throw out bearing in the car now the check engine light is on and the speedo stopped working i took it to auto zone and they say its the vehicle speed sensor but i replaced it when i re did the clutch cause i broke it :( ?? so i might have damaged it again what do u think??

Is the engine light still on?

If so, what is the code? That will tell you what is going on. Is the speedometer working again since you replaced the sensor? Might want to check the crankshaft sensor, that is also located in that area.

Anyway, if you can give me the code, that will help.
