Nissan Repair: Blower resistor in 1993 Quest, blower motor, ductwork

My 1993 Quests' front blower is only operating on maximum fan speed #4. From what I've read on the net it's probably the resistor. I ordered one from Courtesy Parts but I can't seem to locate where is goes. Could you please advise me. Thank you.

Hi Tom -

Yes, you are correct. It is the resistor.

Locations vary, but it is usually located on the firewall near the blower motor. Try opening the hood, and looking on the passenger side of the firewall.

If not, then inside the car attached to the ductwork of the A/C system, also on the passenger side.
