Nissan Repair: 1996 nissan pickup, mass air flow sensor, air inlet hose

Question
I recently replaced the mass air flow sensor on my 4 cylinder truck after it through a p0100 code. It runs better now but the idle is at 1500rpm.  I looked for vacuum leaks before giving up and changing the maf, any ideas?

Answer
Bruce,

The idle air control valve would be the next item to replace.  But, before you do, with the engine running, at operating temperature, spritz some carb cleaner around the usual suspects like the air inlet hose and the intake manifold, to check for leaks.  Also, the PCV should be checked and possibly replaced.
