Nissan Repair: car start trouble, neutral safety switch, nissan altima

sometimes car starts and sometimes it does not.... when it does not start radio and lights go on... it s a 2000 nissan altima

If the starter makes a clicking noise it could be the battery terminals being corroded.  If there is no noise then the neutral safety switch could be defective or the starter itself.  Email me back and let me know what else it does besides the lights and radio working.
