What's wrong when the car sometimes will turn over like it wants to crank but you have to try 2-4 times before it will.Sometimes it will crank the first time .

If the sparkplugs have not been changed that is the usual reason.  If the car has had a tuneup that included sparkplugs recently, within the last two years, then you are looking at the fuel pump relay.  Those are the two most common problems associated with the starting problem you describe.
