Nissan Repair: Brake light and battery light blinking intermittently, nissan sentra, nissan dealer

Question
I have a 2000 Nissan Sentra and need help...I just paid 500.00 at the Nissan dealer and it is still acting up....My service engine light came on a few months ago....no other distress noted...Just recently, my brake light and battery light began blinking intermittently when I have the lights and radio on....Nissan replaced an emission valve and said it was fixed, but I am still getting these two lights and it feels like the car is losing power....The alternator charges fine....Pls help

Answer
Hi Debbie -

I would suggest a second look at the alternator. It could charge fine at idle, but under load (such as the lights on or other loads), it would not put out enough power to recharge the battery. Normally when the 2 lights illuminate like that, it is the alternator. How was the test for the alternator done?

A remote chance it could be the battery as well, Need to take a load test on that as well. Any auto shop should be able to perform these tests.

Please let me know how this goes.
